Quit, smoking, during, Ramadan
Ramadan. Doctors at the very official National Health Service (NHS), the national body responsible for health in the UK, have launched a campaign in a district of London, Tower Hamlets, in the fight against tobacco addiction. In this part of London, there are many more patients with conditions related to smoking than the national average. Hence the mobilization to eradicate this scourge.



Tower Hamlets has, tobacco is a real public health problem. Health authorities have decided to join forces, among others, to religious organizations, and therefore Muslim, to conduct an awareness campaign and action. Everyone knows that smoking in Islam is forbidden. Smoking is illegal. The Muslim has a maintenance obligation of respect and kindness towards his own body, all year round. Muslim smokers know. This is why many of them taking advantage of Ramadan to find the will and the energy necessary for a final judgment.
