Addiction
The "addiction" term is commonly used to talk of addiction to the use of a psychoactive substance whose absence causes a consumption psychic discomfort or physical, prompting consumers become addicted to resume its consumption and perpetuate.

Research conducted in the 1970 in the Anglo-Saxon countries, have shown that the notion of dependency is actually much broader and also includes "addictions without drugs." The term "addiction" is rather retained to consolidate addictions and addictions-free products.


Addiction What is it?

Addiction is a more or less alienating dependency relationship for the individual, and more or less accepted and sometimes totally rejected by the social environment of the latter, in respect of:

a product: drugs, tobacco, alcohol, drugs ...
a practice: play, purchase, sex, internet ...

More recently it was mentioned the possibility of addiction to almost everything: the work (workaholism), sport etc.
